What does AI Docx do?

AI Docx creates and edits Word (.docx) documents. Describe a document, or take a photo of a page, and the AI writes it. Open an existing .docx and ask the AI to change it: every change is highlighted so you can keep or skip it. You can also tap any paragraph to fix the text, bold, italic, underline, color, size and alignment by hand.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-in. The app makes an anonymous account for your device the first time you use AI, so it can count your daily prompts and hold AI Docx Plus.

Where are my documents stored? Who can read them?

Your documents are stored only on your device. We have no copy of them. When you send an AI prompt, the prompt, the document's text and any photos you attach go through our server to an AI provider to produce the result, and are not stored by us. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

How do I open a Word file or send one?

• Open: Files → Open .docx, then pick a file from the Files app, iCloud Drive or another storage app.
• Send or save: tap the share button next to a document, or inside the editor, then choose Mail, Messages, Save to Files and so on.

Will my formatting stay the same?

AI Docx changes only the text you or the AI edit and keeps the rest of the file as it was: styles, tables, images, headers and footers. Rewriting a paragraph that mixes several formats can move some formatting, so check the highlighted changes before you keep them. Older .doc files and password-protected files cannot be opened.

AI Docx Plus: what is it, and how do I cancel or restore it?

AI Docx is free with 3 AI prompts a day. AI Docx Plus gives you 100 prompts a day. It is an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed by Apple; new subscribers may get a free trial first.

• Cancel or change: iPhone or iPad Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AI Docx. Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Restore on a new device or after reinstalling: Settings in the app → Restore purchases.
• Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Deleting your data does not cancel the subscription; cancel it in your Apple account settings.

How do I delete my data?

In the app: Settings → Delete my data. This deletes your anonymous account on our server. Your documents are on your device: delete them in Files (swipe left), or delete the app.

The AI made a mistake. What should I do?

AI can be wrong or leave things out. Review every change before you keep it, use Undo to go back, and check important documents (contracts, legal or financial papers) yourself before you use them.
